Organic farm

The Muchhof has always stood where it still does today.

It has changed names several times, from Klosner Gut to Spacklerhof, but it has always been run by the same family.

There were times with rich harvests and prosperity, as well as bad times with poor harvests and hunger. "Many stones - little bread for the farmer!" was the saying.

The life of the mountain farmer was and is a hard life, but the connection to the beautiful homeland, to the spectacles of nature, living together with the animals, the changing seasons and their own land are what keeps farming alive to this day.

Organic farm

Our farm has been certified organic for many years.

Our animals are fed exclusively with organic feed. The hay comes from our own meadows and contains a variety of flowers, grasses and herbs.

The calves receive milk from their own mothers in order to grow healthy and strong.

In addition to grazing, the goats like to choose their own favourite herbs, bark and shrubs. They have plenty of opportunities to do this on our extensive walks.

Regular inspections by organic inspectors ensure quality for the consumer and give us the certainty that we are on the right track.

It is not for nothing that we are repeatedly awarded a prize for producing some of the best milk in Tyrol.

Philosophie und Geschichte

The Muchhof has been standing for over 500 years and has been family-owned since it was built.

Horses, oxen, mules, pigs, chickens, ducks, cows, goats and sheep have shared the lives of the farming families living here for centuries - and all under one roof.

We greatly value this great heritage and feel obliged to do our best to preserve the old hereditary farm and its long history for future generations.

The appreciation of this heritage does not only apply to the farm, but is just as great for its animal inhabitants, who, as already mentioned, have always lived on the farm.

If not only the animals' bodies but also their souls are well, the farm can live and survive.

So it's not just profit that's important to us, the bottom line is that everything has to be right - the quality of life for everyone - as well as the figures.

Lage

Our Muchhof, with its small holiday home, is located in the Klamm district of Leutasch.

We are at the end of the high plateau and at the entrance to the Gaistal alpine paradise.

Klamm always fascinates visitors, as we have many animals such as horses, sheep, cows, poultry and goats in the immediate vicinity. There is always something to see.

Hiking and cycling trails start here in front of the house and lead through the enchanting landscape.

The entrance to the cross-country ski trail is directly behind our farm.

Shopping facilities, public transport and the Infopoint can be found around the farm.
